1967 PONTIAC GTO
1966 Pontiac GTO. This is a hot, hot ride with huge potential. It is in very good shape, but has a few things to remedy before it is show ready. First off, a description: It is pearl white with a blue tint. It has a Pontiac 400c.i.(6.6L) from a '79 Trans Am(not orig. motor, stock was 389c.i., 6.5L). A 4bbl Holley, headers, dual exhuast all the way back. Runs great and the rumble is pure music. It has a Muncie M-21 4 sp. tranny with a Hurst shifter, with a 4:11 rear-end which is great for 1/4 miles, but not too good for cruising. A 3:55 or 3:73 rear would do it great justice if cruising is your thing. The interior (black) is in great shape and was replaced within the last 12 years, although there are some additional repairs or touch-ups to be made. The body is solid and does need some work and it could use a fresh paint job. The trans is need of some minor repairs as it is not engaging in 3rd or 4th gear. Likely a linkage issue, possibly forks aren't aligning properly. The interior front seat backs are not parts that are available but the originals are there and in need of touch up. The carpet is like new. The seats have no tears or rips. The original console is not installed in the car, but I do have it. It is in original condition, as in 43 years old condition, but you can have it restored and reinstalled if you like. The wheels are 15 American Racing. (14 was stock) I do have a set of 4 Pontiac 14 rims(not orig. or stock for this car) with tires that I could put back on the car. Also, not knowing exactly what is wrong with the trans., I must sell this car a.s.a.p. as times are hard getting harder for me and I can no longer keep it. I have dreamed of this car for a very long time and purchased it with a very clear image of its potential in my head. Unfortunately, since then, things have changed and it sadly must go. I have some pics here but they do not do this car the justice it deserves. You must see it to appreciate it. PRICE IS FIRM AND CHEAP--TRADES OK /MY TRADE VALUE IS 15K
