1966 CHEVROLET CHEVELLE
355 – forged pistons, hydraulic cam modeled after chevy offroad cam..air gap intake w/edelbrock carb..MSD billet distributor, 7al2 box- Aluminized exhaust with flow masters/headers Motor sounds good and the car is fun to drive. I don’t have a ton of money in motor but it runs well. I wanted to drive this car …Aluminum radiator.. Super T10, 4.10’s brute strength posi Lowering coils from OPG rear coils have air bags and no hop on rear end. Body has original panels – there were a couple of small rust spots we patched with metal. The original owner used to drag race the car in a modified class and had a fuel cell which he cut a square out of the trunk floor for the sump. I replaced the trunk floor. Base coat clear coat Butternut yellow. Paint shines and is slick..painted approx 6 years ago. All emblems are new. Original trim in excellent shape..the only piece that needs attention is the molding around the frt windshield (has a couple of slight dings). New hood inserts. Bumpers are straight and have excellent chrome. Newer windshield..all other glass in great shape. I replaced all weatherstrip and rubbers. Interior is factory original..other than gauges and I put a Lecarra leather steering wheel. I have a brand new dash pad along with all 3 chrome dash surrounds along with the Super Sport insert panel over the glove box that go with the car
